what distance learning courses are recognised in the uk?

Author: I am planning to study English (BA) using The University of London’s External programme whereby I can study abroad. How do I know if this degree is recognised in the UK, or anywhere in the world for that matter?

Are you currently living in the UK? You should contact the department responsible for universities by email to check if this is a recognize university and program. If you are overseas, I would suggest contacting the British High Commission or Embassy who will be in the best position to assist you and give you the best answer. There are many universities claiming to be recognized in the UK, but are not…so be careful!
