Free Online Courses

I have found a couple courses online but they are rather expensive. Is it worth it? Are there other beneficial classes I can take other then general writing/journalism classes at a local college?

i am a photography student at a local college and i am looking to better my photography skills and knowledge by taking some online/distant courses, but i don’t want to have to start all the way at the beginning and i have already taken NYIP courses.

I am enrolled full time at a local college and have a full time job as well, about 45 hours a week. I am taking all online courses this fall semester- I was wondering if they are generally harder than on campus traditional classes and if there is a larger work load? I know alot depends on the professor…So i am asking just in general? let me know ….. thanks!
