I am planning to study English (BA) using The University of London’s External programme whereby I can study abroad. How do I know if this degree is recognised in the UK, or anywhere in the world for that matter?

I want to learn how to dance hip hop and ballroom, so I can have that skill, it will help me in becoming an actress, but I don’t really want to take all these extensive lessons, I like to learn at my own pace.
