There’s a program called EyeQ. It’s a little pricy, but it actually works. It actually trains you to process material faster as opposed to speed reading gimmicks that most programs teach. I’ve been using it for the past few months and it is very good. I highly recommend it.

If you want something less expensive, try Davidson Ultimate Speed Reader. It’s not as robust as EyeQ, but it uses a similar methodology.

I read at a speed of 2650 words pr min when I am relaxing and 4330 (which is slow by most standards) when I am doing research. I learned to speed read when I was very very young. Around the age of 7 -8 (I am 65 now) There are programs on the web and all you have to do is go to goggle and do a search. However, I have to warn you. If you are serious then it is going to take practice, practice, and more practice. and then practice some more. I didn’t have TV when I was a kid, so books and radio was the only type of entertainment that I had. Good-Luck
